FBC Family Nights

July 7 2023 6:30 - 8:30 | When you go through a trial the sovereignty of God is the pillow upon which you lay your head.”

Born and raised in Barrie, Ontario, Alexandra Gronfors is an Christian elementary school teacher who is quickly making a name for herself in the artistic community. Alexandra discovered her blessing of art while being diagnosed with stage four cancer, Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. God’s timing was perfect for this new discovery. Having a strong faith in Christ from a young age Alexandra was prepared for her treatment journey and motivated to give her journey completely to God, share her experiences openly and inspire others through her art. She put her trust fully in Him recognizing that He is using her in ways that she might not even understand yet. God helped Alexandra turn a crisis into an opportunity... He knew what she needed to feel motivated and to keep going. The goal of her art is to bring joy to everyone while offering a unique perspective of God’s world with her use of bold, vibrant colours and high contrast backgrounds. Each piece showcases her positive outlook on life, and bright imagination. She is inspired by people, landscapes, and God’s beautiful creation. She has provided countless smiles to her clients with her story, custom artwork, prints, murals, and private lessons with children. Alexandra has been voted as Barrie’s best artist three years in a row! Follow her on social media for more information and updates: @art.by.alexandra_
